Meet the Minds Behind Trufy

As part of our TechCamp Bangladesh project, supported by the U.S. Embassy Dhaka and BYLC, Trufy successfully conducted two in-person fact-checking training sessions in Comilla and Dhaka. These sessions brought together students, faculty, and media professionals to tackle misinformation through hands-on learning. Led by expert trainer Rydwanul Islam from FactWatch, participants explored the principles of fact-checking and gained practical skills to identify misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation. With interactive exercises and expert guidance, the trainings sparked enthusiasm and built a committed network of fact-checkers. As a symbol of unity, each participant received a Trufy T-shirt, marking their role in fostering a misinformation-free society.
